Our Programs
Since 2000, ArtWell has worked with hundreds of amazing partners including schools, libraries, diverse faith-based organizations, health and social-service providers, and community organizations to serve nearly 1,000 students per year across the Greater Philadelphia region.
Through writing, music, poetry, visual arts, storytelling, performance, spoken-word, and other art forms, students discuss personal and social issues, explore their emotions and identities, cultivate their creativity, and develop deeper understandings of who they are in relation to the world around them.

We’re excited to partner with the Barnes Foundation to celebrate living and thriving indigenous cultures! Join us at PECO Free First Sunday Family Day: Thriving Traditions, presented in partnership with IPD Philly in recognition of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
ArtWell Teaching Artist Jean Wong and Blew Kind will be facilitating hands-on art workshops throughout the day, inviting families to create and connect with Indigenous cultures through art. To learn more, click the link below!
