ArtWell is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, connection, and well-being through arts-based programs. We guide K-12 youth in cultivating resilience, self-expression, and confidence through artmaking.

Position Summary

ArtWell seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our leadership and program teams. This role is essential in ensuring smooth communication, efficient workflows, and effective coordination of projects that advance our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for leadership staff.

  • Organize and maintain digital files, records, and databases.

  • Draft, proofread, and format correspondence, reports, and presentations.

  • Respond to general inquiries through email and website forms.

Donor Relations & Fundraising Support:

  • Assist with donor communication, including thank-you letters and email updates.

  • Support grant proposal preparation, submission, and follow-up processes.

Program Coordination:

  • Assist with scheduling and coordination of ArtWell workshops and events.

  • Monitor program emails and inquiries, ensuring timely responses.

  • Prepare materials and provide logistical support for virtual and in-person activities.

Other Duties:

  • Conduct research to support grant writing, program development, or strategic planning.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide general support as needed.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and CRM

    systems.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with nonprofit organizations, particularly in the arts or education sectors.

  • Experience with donor management systems (e.g., DonorPerfect, Bloomerang).

  • Knowledge of social media platforms and basic graphic design tools like Canva.

Hours & Compensation

This is a remote, flexible position. ArtWell’s working hours are 9:00a - 5:00 p.m. Compensation for this position is $25/hour.
