Dr. Josh Perelman is Chief Curator & Director of Exhibitions where he oversees the Museum’s exhibitions, education, public programs, and artifact collection. Widely regarded for his award-wining exhibitions and programs, Josh over two decades of leadership in museums, education, and public history. He is passionate about guiding the next future of storytelling and design, and has dedicated himself to presenting history, culture, and art in meaningful and unexpected ways. Josh holds dual PhDs in Jewish Studies and American History from NYU. Josh served on the Board of the University City Arts League for 6 years holding Chair and Vice Chair positions and is a Strategic Advisor for The Lost Mural and National Museum of American Religion organizations.
