Photographer and educator Adina Shapiro has worked extensively with children to develop and deliver programs that integrate photography and writing. This literacy through art approach empowers students to create images and poems that reflect their own personal experiences. Adina holds a BFA from Washington University, an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in NYC, and an MA in Education from UC Berkeley. Adina has been a teaching artist with Artwell since 2013.
