ArtWell Poetry and Art Show
Join us at the fourth annual ArtWell Poetry and Art Show at The Galleries at Moore College of Art and Design! The opening reception on Saturday, May 17th at 4-7PM is a celebratory and family-friendly evening honoring our youth artists and the stories they share through their work.
More than just a free student art exhibition, the show is a celebration of the power of art to heal, unite, and inspire.
Reimagining Philadelphia
As we celebrate 25 years of ArtWell, we are celebrating our past achievements, looking to the future, and using our core value of imagination to reenvision Philadelphia.
This exhibit honors imagination as an important vehicle for emotional growth and crafting new futures, while showcasing who we, as a city, can be.

Art, Poetry, and Live Performances
Through an engaging exhibition of visual art, spoken word performances, and interactive experiences, attendees witness firsthand the impact of ArtWell’s programs on students’ lives. The show is a dynamic blend of poetry, painting, music, and mixed media, all created by K-12 students across Philadelphia — it is an invitation to uplift youth voices and support their creative journeys.
Not only will attendees be able to eat, mingle, and connect with each other, but they will also enjoy imaginative visual and literary art and live performances. Performances will include feature poet, Ciara Chantelle, Youth Poet Laureate, Malaya Ulan, and several ArtWell students.
