ArtWell Workshop Explores Self-Knowledge, Identity, and Sanctuary Through The Arts
On September 29th ArtWell led Plymouth Meeting Friends School administrators and teachers in a workshop exploring identity, arts activities and tools in support of youth, and building community among students and colleagues.
One Plymouth Meeting administrator had this to say:
We are a community that thrives on creative, reflective opportunities. This was really a perfect way for us to take the next step in our work on racial awareness and self-identity.
ArtWell’s workshops introduce educators and youth service providers to our unique approach, which combines creative expression and reflection to provide new tools for engaging young people, as well as a sense of replenishment, joy, and community for the professionals who participate.
