EITC: Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program

Businesses in Pennsylvania can receive a tax credit by donating to ArtWell through the EITC program.

ArtWell is a state approved Educational Improvement Organization that qualifies to receive tax credit donations through this program.

The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program allows businesses to make contributions to ArtWell, thereby supporting our innovative arts education programs for students in underserved public schools across Philadelphia.

By making a donation through the EITC program, we can work together to provide life-changing programs to youth who need them the most.

Please note businesses may split their EITC donation between multiple organizations.

Since our founding, ArtWell’s commitment to social justice has remained strong. ArtWell provides preventive, educational, arts-oriented programming to reach underserved communities and youth facing discrimination, poverty, violence, and the everyday challenges of growing up. Our mission is to support young people and their communities through multidisciplinary arts expression, education, and creative reflection to celebrate their strengths, thrive while facing complex challenges, and awaken their dreams.

Over the past 17 years, we have partnered with over 400 private, public, and charter schools, as well as community organizations, to engage more than 35,000 youth in reflective, academically engaging arts programs in Greater Philadelphia. More than 90 percent of ArtWell programs are implemented in low-income communities across the region.
